Breakfast is one of my favorite times to meet with friends—it's just so much better to have a morning meal sitting somewhere nice and in pleasant company. Without fail, everything in the day afterward seems that much more relaxed.
I was happy when, before catching an early afternoon screening of I Love You, Man, the ladies and I converged to have brunch. Since it was nice out, we went to Mountain Cafe, which boasted a small outdoor seating area, a gathering of stiff chairs and tables in a concrete back patio. It wasn't quite scenic, and my veggie omelette with hash browns was forgettable, but it was still sunny enough to make eating there worthwhile. It was really the company that made the meal lovely.
